Through the Gate of the Eternal City

This vision which was given to John is the most glorious promise for each of us who have Jesus as our Savior. This promise was given to us earlier in scripture by Jesus, just before He was to be crucified. In John 14, Jesus says that He would be going to prepare a place of many mansions or rooms for His followers. Then one day He would come to get us so that we can be with Him there forever. In the Book of Revelation, John does his best to describe with earthly words this heavenly vision. But it really must have been indescribable! We look forward to the promise!
